The Challenge: Selling antiques and furniture is hard enough, but when you’re the best of the best, the average consumer does not know you exist or worse, they can’t afford your high end prices. Newel needed exposure and a bigger global audience.

The Solution: Newel’s website was not simply made into a slick online brochure for the client to admire. Newel was one of the first in their industry to catalog their entire collection online and make Newel.com an experience for the antique connoisseur. Nine years later and they are still ranked #1 in the antiques and collectibles category on Forbes list of best websites. Not an easy achievement considering they are the only site with this distinction.

Taking the project a step further. We worked diligently to optimize their entire collection and website so that search engines such as Google and Yahoo would find and index every page and product with ease with our proprietary optimization process. Traffic grew and so have sales. While others in the industry have folded, Newel has survived. Global sales are now part of every day life at Newel, and the website is instrumental to their success and survival.
